Assistant Professor of Practice
Biography
I’m a Knoxville native who received my B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Retail & Consumer Science from The University of Tennessee. For the next 20 years I spent time as a tenure-track and tenured faculty member at other universities and working in business. I’ve chosen to focus the current chapter of my career solely on preparing students to be successful in the retail industry. My duties involve teaching, academic advising, supervising interns, maintaining relationships with our retail partners, and mentoring students with regard to employment opportunities. It’s a great honor to be able to pay forward what the Retail & Merchandising Management program did for me.
