Spring 2021

All cafes are $15 per person

Café Service time is 11:00am

All participants must follow Covid guidelines and fill out questionnaire upon arrival

Ready for the World cafe are held at 2712 Neyland Drive, Knoxville TN 37996

We will have 27 seats available for each café

Each café represents a different region in the United States

March 25th – New York

  • First course – Iceberg Wedge Salad with Heirloom Tomato, Crispy Benton’s Bacon, and Blue Cheese Dressing
  • Second Course – Parmesan Breaded Pork Chop with Potato Gnocchi and Vegetable Spaghetti
  • Third Course – New York Cheesecake with Sweet Pastry Crust

 

April 8th – Mexican Border

  • First course – Homemade Guacamole Served with Grilled Shrimp and Corn Tortilla Chips
  • Second Course – Chicken Monterey with Green Chili Potatoes and Black Bean Pico De Gallo’
  • Third Course – Sopapillas Drizzled with Honey

 

April 15th – Southern Florida

  • First course – Coconut Shrimp with Spicy Ginger Soy Sauce
  • Second Course – Jamaican- America Jerk Chicken Breast with Rice ‘N’ Peas and Fried Plantains
  • Third Course – Key Lime Pie with Chipped Cream and Candied Lime Zest

 

April 22nd – Appalachian

  • First course – Garden Vegetable Soup with Cornbread and Herb Butter
  • Second Course – Maple Glazed Turkey Served with Stoneground Grits and Sauerkraut
  • Third Course – Walnut Pound Cake
